MOVEMENT STUDIO | RENTAL AGREEMENT


RESERVATIONS

Prior to the agreement date, the client has confirmed a request for the rental of the studio in writing.

The studio usage shall only be used for the rental client. The rental client shall not interfere with any programs run by the studio or entice, solicit or market any dance programs to any of the studio clients.

The rental client agrees that the studio is not liable or legally responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur to any client, student, teacher, or any associated member of the rental client.

The rental client agrees to maintain a respectful volume of music, ensure that only clean, non-marking, indoor shoes or socks are worn on the studio dance floor at all times, and to follow the cleaning and COVID-19 protocols.

HOURS OF OPERATION

All activities involving patrons and/or loud music will conclude no later than 10:00PM PST on the date of the rental. All other activities including cleanup shall conclude no later than 1:00AM on the date following the reserved date, unless prior written permission has been obtained.

All rentals occurring at Glow Studios Vancouver on Monday to Friday between 8:00AM-5:00PM must keep music levels low out of respect for the offices below. Failure to comply may result in a ban of further rentals.

The Client will be held responsible for any and all guests on the premises before, during, and after their rental.

The Client will be permitted to enter the facilities up to 15 minutes before the reserved time frame for preparation, facility inspection and equipment drop off - provided they are not disrupting the previous rental.

The Client will not be provided with additional time for equipment pick-up. All property belonging to the Client or its customers shall be removed no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled end time of their rental. All customers of the Client must exit the studio promptly no later than the exact end time of the rental.

Access to the space beyond previously agreed upon in writing rental times is prohibited. Any unauthorized access of the space will result in termination of this rental agreement and seizure of all keys and alarm codes.

PAYMENT + CANCELLATION

The agreed upon rate for studio rentals at Glow Studios Vancouver at 1026 Davie St., Vancouver occurring on Monday to Friday after 5:00PM PST or at any time on Saturdays or Sundays ("Primetime Rate") is FIFTY CANADIAN DOLLARS ($50.00) per hour or portion thereof.

The agreed upon rate for studio rentals at Glow Studios Vancouver at 1026 Davie St., Vancouver on Monday to Friday between 8:00AM and 5:00PM PST ("Off-Prime Rate") is FOURTY CANADIAN DOLLARS ($40.00) per hour or portion thereof.

The agreed upon rate for studio rentals at Glow Studios Squamish at 38161 2nd Ave., Squamish occurring on Monday to Friday after 5:00PM PST or at any time on Saturdays or Sundays ("Primetime Rate") is FOURTY-FIVE CANADIAN DOLLARS ($45.00) per hour or portion thereof.

The agreed upon rate for studio rentals at Glow Studios Squamish at 38161 2nd Ave., Squamish on Monday to Friday between 8:00AM and 5:00PM PST ("Off-Prime Rate") is THIRTY-FIVE CANADIAN DOLLARS ($35.00) per hour or portion thereof.

A 50% deposit will be due upon the signing of this contract for the reservation of the date(s) requested.

For single day rentals, the remaining balance of the rental cost is due in full on the day of the rental. For multiple rentals, the remaining balance of the rental cost is due in full at the end of the calendar month in which the rentals occur.

Any payments made over 60 days past the above outlined due date will incur a late penalty of 3% compounded monthly interest, from the due date to the date payment is received, and may result in termination of this agreement, and seizure of any keys or access codes.

The rental client is responsible to pay for any damages to the studio caused by the rental client or anyone associated with the rental client.

Cancellation of a rental must be made at least 14 days prior to the rental date, otherwise all fees associated with the rental are still due by the rental date. Cancellations made prior to 14 days before are eligible for a refund. A 10% processing fee will be applied to the refund amount. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

Should the Owner choose to cancel this facility rental agreement due to Client's violation of the terms of this agreement, any fees paid by the Client are considered non-refundable and outstanding balances are owed.

SERVICES OFFERED

The Owner will provide the studio space, cleaning supplies, music equipment, and yoga mats at Glow Studios Squamish and pillows at Glow Studios Vancouver.

The Client understands that the capacity for Glow Studios Vancouver is maximum 25 students, plus one teacher and one assistant (or two facilitators). The capacity for Glow Studios Squamish is maximum 18 students, plus one teacher and one assistant (or two facilitators). The Client will not permit any more than the capacity to enter.

The Owner's staff will provide entry to the facility as well as close the facility upon conclusion of the reservation, or will provide the Renter keys and an alarm code to conduct opening and closing themselves.

If the Client is conducting opening/closing, they must ensure all windows are closed and locked, all doors are closed and locked, and that the alarm is armed before leaving the studio space.

The facility will provide weekly cleaning of the space. It is the Client's responsibility to inspect the Facility prior to Rental and perform basic cleanup before and/or after their rental with the supplies provided, as needed.

INSURANCE

The Owner maintains general liability, fire, and property insurance. However, Owner's insurance policies do not cover or protect against loss of Client's property or damage or injury to Client's guests or their property.

We require all renters to have their own liability insurance. It is the Clients responsibility to obtain liability insurance and ensure it covers the rental period.

MISCELLANEOUS TERMS

No live animals will be allowed on the premises (Excluding service animals).

The Client and their customers shall remain within the designated areas (do not enter storage/office space).

The Owner will not be held liable for any property left on the premises after the rental's conclusion.

All facility staff will be permitted to enter the premises at any time during as well as after the event.

No smoking or open flames will be permitted in any area of the facility at any time.

No alcohol is to be consumed without prior written approval by the Owner and the appropriate liquor license.

INDEMNIFICATION

Client agrees to hold facility harmless shall any liabilities, claims, or causes of action that may take place as a result of the Client's use of the Facility.

The Owner shall not be held liable for any damages, loss or injuries to personnel or guests during the event.
